Rokusho Jinja 六所神社. Original: Sakusa Oyashiro, District of Ou, township of Ohokusa (Sakusa)
The Fudoki says that Sakusahiko, a son of Susano-o, lived here. He is known as the kami of hemp (asa). Ohokusa means tall grass. This shrine is now known as Rokusho Jinja, one of the six Rokusha of Ou District. It seems to be very important for the history of the six Rokusha shrines as well as for the old Yamato civic center located adjacent to its grounds.
